The Anywhere is Possible Sweepstakes Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

2. INTRODUCTION: Continental Tire North America, Inc. (“Sponsor”) is offering the General Tire Anywhere is Possible Sweepstakes described in these official rules (the "Sweepstakes").

3. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who as of 6/10/08 are 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license. Employees of the Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, dealers and agents, and the foregoing employees’ household or immediate family members (defined as parent, spouse, child, sibling or grandparent) are NOT eligible to enter the Sweepstakes.

4. TIMING: Sweepstakes begins at 8 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on 6/10/08 and ends at 5 p.m. ET on 8/4/08 (the "Sweepstakes Period").

5. HOW TO ENTER: Limit one entry per e-mail address. To enter: during the Sweepstakes Period visit www.generalsweeps.com and correctly complete the official entry form and submit your entry as directed (please note that all required information/fields on entry form must be fully, accurately and legibly completed or entry may be voided). Sponsor reserves the right to include a Sweepstakes official entry form at any additional authorized website or other authorized location.

6. GRAND PRIZE: One (1) grand prize will be awarded consisting of a 5-day/4-night trip (except 8-day/7-night trip for Tokyo only) for the winner and a guest ("Guest") to ONE of the following destinations: Paris, Prague, Rome, Cairo, Toronto or Tokyo (the "Grand-Prize Trip"). Grand-Prize Trip destination will be chosen by applicable winner from above-mentioned list of cities. The Guest for the Grand-Prize Trip must be 18 years of age or older at the time the Travel Companion Release referred to below is executed. Grand-Prize Trip includes: a) Coach class round-trip airfare for two from a major gateway airport closest to grand-prize winner's U.S. residence to a major gateway airport in the vicinity of the chosen Grand-Prize Trip location (grand-prize winner and Guest must fly together); b) Four-nights’ lodging (seven–nights Tokyo only) (double occupancy); c) Continental breakfast for four days (seven-days Tokyo only) (other meals are responsibility of grand-prize winner and Guest); d) Transfers to and from airport and hotel; e) Spending money: Paris, Prague and Rome: 100 Euros; Cairo: 1,150 Egyptian pounds; Toronto: 500 Canadian dollars; and Tokyo: 250 pounds sterling exchanged for equivalent Yen); f) An excursion or tour (duration, date and time determined solely by Sponsor) for grand-prize winner and Guest (no excursion/tour for Tokyo): Paris: tour of Paris in a Citroen 2CV; Prague: dinner cruise on Prague’s Vltava River; Rome: tour of Colosseum; Cairo: tour of pyramids and sphinx; Toronto: Niagara Falls Freedom tour. Arrangements and costs of visiting any other attractions are the sole responsibility of the grand-prize winner and Guest. The grand-prize winner must take the Grand-Prize Trip by 12/31/08, or be disqualified and forfeit any right to the said prize (in which case, said prize will not be awarded). The total approximate retail value ("ARV") of the Grand-Prize Trip is between $4,500 and $8,000 (value will vary depending on the chosen trip destination, grand-prize winner’s location and fares/rates when booked).

7. FIRST PRIZE: One (1) first prize will be awarded consisting of a Weekend Warrior Experience in Baja, Mexico for the winner and a guest (the "Baja Trip"). The guest (“Baja Guest”) for the Baja Trip must be 18 years of age or older at the time the Travel Companion Release referred to below is executed. In addition to the eligibility requirements set forth in paragraph 3, in order to participate in the Baja Trip, the first-prize winner and the Baja Guest: (i) must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license; ii) must not have any illness, injury, physical condition and/or medication use (prescription or non) that may impair or affect his/her ability to safely drive an off-road vehicle during the Baja Trip, or that would impair his/her health while riding as a passenger in any vehicle traversing rough terrain during the Baja Trip; (iii) must confirm that within the last seven years he/she has NOT had a criminal driving conviction (e.g. felony, negligent homicide, manslaughter, hit and run), a conviction for an alcohol-and/or drug-related driving offense, a conviction for reckless driving or engaging in any speed contest; iv) must confirm that within the past 12 months he/she has not had any combination of two or more moving violations or at fault accidents; or the first-prize winner may forfeit any right to the first prize and the said prize may be awarded to an alternate by random drawing or where applicable, the Baja Guest may disqualify himself/herself from taking part in some or all of the planned off-road driving activities or accompanying the first-prize winner on the Baja Trip (the decisions of the Sponsor in this regard will be final and binding). The first-prize winner must take the Baja Trip on one of the three dates in 2008 provided by the Sponsor or be disqualified and forfeit any right to the said prize (in which case, said prize will not be awarded). The Baja Trip includes: a) Coach class round-trip airfare for two from a major gateway airport closest to first-prize winner's U.S. residence to Loreto International Airport in Baja, Mexico (first-prize winner and Baja Guest must fly together); b) 2-nights’ lodging (double occupancy); c) Meals as provided by the Baja Trip operator; d) Two and a half days Baja driving experience; e) Transfers to and from airport and hotel. The total ARV of the first prize is $10,000 (actual value may vary depending upon location of first-prize winner and fares/rates when booked).

8. SECOND PRIZES: Five (5) second prizes will be awarded each consisting of a set of four (4) General Grabber HTS tires with a total ARV of $700 per winner (actual value may vary depending upon tire size).

9. PRIZES, GENERAL: The total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in the Sweepstakes is $21,500. Limit one prize per person. Each Sweepstakes prize is nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Sponsor in the event that a prize or part thereof cannot be awarded for any reason; in such event, Sponsor will in its sole discretion award a substitute prize or part thereof of equal or greater value. Subject to the conditions herein, each prize will be awarded. Each winner is solely responsible for the following in relation to a Sweepstakes prize awarded to him/her: a) any and all applicable taxes (including but not limited to the following taxes: federal, state, local taxes and sales tax); and b) any and all applicable fees and expenses that are not specifically set forth herein as included with a Sweepstakes prize and are related to the acceptance, award, installation, enjoyment and use of a Sweepstakes prize (including but not limited to a winner’s sole responsibility where applicable for: medical insurance, liability insurance, personal expenses, meals, room service, telephone, gratuities, incidentals, tire installation/balancing, service fees, usage fees and transportation fees). All details regarding the Grand-Prize Trip and the Baja Trip (including, but not limited to airline(s), flights, seats, hotel, room, planned excursion/tour, planned breakfasts and transfers will be designated solely by Sponsor, and may be changed at any time at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor is awarding each Sweepstakes prize on an "AS-IS" basis without warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, usability by a winner, or where applicable legality for use in a winner’s state. Visual prize depictions may not accurately represent an awarded prize.

10. RANDOM DRAWING: On or about 8/12/08 the Sweepstakes winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received. The said drawing will be conducted by an independent judging organization, whose decisions along with those of the Sponsor on all matters related to the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding. A participant selected as a potential Sweepstakes winner must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these official rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

11. NOTIFICATION: Potential Sweepstakes winners will be notified (the "Notification") by email, mail or courier (or other method at the discretion of Sponsor) within approximately seven (7) days of the above-mentioned random drawing. Within ten (10) days of the send date, postmark or shipment date of the Notification, a potential winner must return as directed each of the below-listed documents (unless determined not to be applicable by the Sponsor): a) An Affidavit, Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement, including where lawful a Publicity Release (prior to said return, to be correctly completed and executed by applicable potential winner); b) A Travel Companion Release, including where lawful a Publicity Release (prior to said return, to be correctly completed and executed by the applicable Guest/Baja Guest); and c) Proof of possession of a valid and unexpired passport that permits travel between the U.S. and the applicable grand prize/first prize trip destination and expires after 12/31/08, or proof of application for such passport (application should use the expedited service option). Where lawful all information requested of a potential winner/Guest/Baja Guest by the Sponsor must be accurately and legibly provided. Please note that additional documents may be required at the discretion of Sponsor. in addition, THE FIRST-PRIZE WINNER AND THE BAJA GUEST, WILL BE REQUIRED TO acknowledge that THEY UNDERSTAND THAT the BAJA TRIP involves activities that are extremely dangerous and involve the risk of serious injury, death and/or property damage, and by participating IN such activities SAID winner/BAJA GuEST agree to assume full responsibility for SUCH RISK, including any injury, death or property damage caused by the negligent actions of others. Failure to comply with the requirements of this paragraph (or the return of any prize or prize notification as non-deliverable) may result in disqualification and in the forfeiture of any right to a prize, in which case such prize will be awarded to an alternate by random drawing.

12. E-MAIL ADDRESS: In the event of a dispute regarding which individual submitted any entry, such entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person whose name is on the Sweepstakes entry form.

13. RELEASE: By participating in the Sweepstakes and/or accepting a prize, a participant/winner agrees to defend, release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Twentieth Century Fox and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, and the foregoing companies’ officers, directors, shareholders, members, managers, employees, representatives, agents and all others associated with the development and execution of the Sweepstakes (collectively the "Releasees") from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss or damage of any kind (including any for the violation or infringement of any proprietary or personal right of any individual or entity, and any personal injury, death and/or property damage) resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Sweepstakes, and/or the use, acceptance, or possession of a Sweepstakes prize, and/or participation in a Sweepstakes prize-related activity. By participating in the Sweepstakes and/or accepting a prize, a participant/winner consents to and gives the Sponsor and its representatives, licensees, assignees, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively the “Licensees”): a) The right to photograph/video a winner and a winner’s property (including an awarded Sweepstakes prize); and b) The right in perpetuity to use, reuse, publish and display a participant’s/winner’s name, address, entry form information, statements, quotes, opinions, blog(s), picture, portrait, likeness, voice, video, photograph(s), biographical information, prize information, and winner-submitted photograph(s)/video/text/blog(s) (in whole or in part, as may be adapted, edited or modified, as solely determined by Licensees) for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes in any media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, and on the World Wide Web, without review, notification or approval, all without limitation or additional consideration, unless prohibited by law. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned.

14. CONDITIONS: Participants agree that by participating in the Sweepstakes they release the Releasees from any liability in connection with: a) Entries that are ineligible as a result of being lost, late, illegible, damaged, incomplete, stolen, or misdirected; b) Any typographical or other human or technical errors in the offer or administration of the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to errors in advertising, these official rules, the selection and announcement of a winner(s), or the distribution/awarding of a Sweepstakes prize(s); and c) Any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay, misdirection, damage, line failure, injury, technical malfunctions or traffic congestion on the Internet/telephone network, or at any website, or any combination thereof. Sponsor reserves the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Sweepstakes. In the event that the Sweepstakes is infected by a computer virus/worm, or is not capable of running or being executed as planned (as a result of but not limited to an error, omission, defect, delay, misdirection, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, action of entrants, or technical failure) or any other cause which in the sole opinion of Sponsor corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any suspect entry or entrant and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes (collectively a “Sweepstakes Revision”). In the event of a Sweepstakes Revision, notice thereof will be posted at the Sweepstakes website, including information (where applicable as determined solely by Sponsor) regarding winner determination in a random drawing from among all eligible non-suspect and/or non-disqualified entries. Releasees shall have no liability to any participant/winner who is disqualified due to a Sweepstakes Revision. Failure to enforce any term of these official rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

15. LAWS: Subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted.

16. WINNERS’ LIST: A winners’ list will be available by sending an SASE by 9/30/08 to: General Tire Anywhere is Possible Sweepstakes, Winners’ List, P.O. Box 459, Dana Point, CA 92629-0459.
